1. Poor lubrication
Poor lubrication is one of the main causes of premature bearing damage. The reasons include: failure to add lubricants or lubricating oils in time, failure to add lubricants or lubricating oils in place, improper selection of lubricants or lubricating oils, incorrect lubrication methods, etc.
It is recommended to choose the correct lubricant or lubricating oil and use the correct filling method.
2. Improper installation
1. Do not use brute force during installation. Hitting the bearing directly with a hammer will cause the greatest damage to the bearing; it is the main cause of deformation.
2. Inadequate installation, deviation in installation or failure to install the bearing position will cause the bearing clearance to be too small. The inner and outer rings are not at the same rotation center, resulting in eccentricity.
It is recommended to choose appropriate bearing installation tools and use special instruments for detection.
3. Pollution
Pollution can also cause bearing damage, with sand, dust, metal chips, etc. entering the bearing. The main reasons include: opening the bearing packaging too early before use, causing pollution. Unclean working environment, causing pollution, unclean working environment of the bearing, pollution of the working medium, etc.
It is recommended that the bearing packaging should not be opened before use, the installation environment should be kept clean during installation, the bearing to be used should be cleaned, and the sealing device of the bearing should be strengthened.
4. Fatigue
Fatigue damage is a common damage mode. Common fatigue damage: bearings are overloaded for a long time, not repaired in time, improper maintenance, equipment aging, etc.
Recommendation = Choose the appropriate bearing type and replace fatigue bearings regularly and in time.
