Operation skills of machining center

As a skilled operator, it is necessary to understand the requirements, process flow, and characteristics of the machine tool before operating it to complete various machining tasks.

1) The fixture should have as few components as possible and high rigidity.

2) Ensure that the machining content of the workpiece is fully completed within the stroke range of the spindle.

3) The bottom surface of the fixture is in contact with the workbench. The flatness of the bottom surface of the fixture must be between 0.01-0.02 millimeters, and the surface roughness must not exceed 3.2 micrometers

4) In order to ensure that the installation direction of the parts is consistent with the direction of the workpiece coordinate system and machine coordinate system selected in programming, the installation is directional.

5) Can be disassembled in a short period of time and replaced with fixtures suitable for new workpieces. Due to the extremely short auxiliary time of the machining center, loading and unloading matching fixtures will not take up too much time.

6) For machining centers with interactive workbenches, fixture design must prevent spatial interference between fixtures and machine tools due to the movement, upper support, lower support, and rotation of the workbench.

7) The fixture should be opened as much as possible, and the spatial position of the clamping element should be lower than below. The installation fixture must not interfere with the tool path of the work steps.

8) Attempt to complete all processing tasks in one clamping. When it is necessary to replace the clamping point, special attention should be paid not to damage the positioning accuracy due to the replacement of the clamping point, and if necessary, it should be explained in the process documents.

9) In order to simplify positioning and installation, each positioning surface of the fixture should have precise coordinate dimensions relative to the machining origin of the machining center.
